{ 50 years strong }

I have had the pleasure of shooting many anniversary pictures this year and I love getting to know the couples and hearing about how they met, their interests, etc. I figure anyone who has made it longer than 15 years must be doing something right. This is a big anniversary for John and Marlene—it will be their 50th wedding anniversary in June. I love it! To look at them you would never have any idea that they are old enough to have been married that long (and they even dated for years before getting married!). 

Congratulations you two! Here's wishing you many, many more years of happiness together. 

{ alannah—3 months }

This sweet baby was just born. Or, at least, it seems that way. She has gotten so big, so fast and has these super cute rolls on her little chubby legs. She is such a cutie! In this first shot she looks so much like her big brother. Is that the sweetest face or what?

{ buster & smudgie }

Meet Buster (on the right) and Smudgie (on the left). Poor Buster had some serious anxiety about his photo session. Both dogs are super sweet and Smudgie, in typical Lab fashion,  couldn't have cared less about having her picture taken but poor Buster kept trying to find places to hide. Like behind my big light box. Or under the server cart that I have holding backdrops (which is only about four inches off of the ground—it didn't work very well as a hiding place). 

But, between the studio shots and going outside for a few, I think it all worked out in the end. 

 

{ troy—2012 lawrence high senior }

Yep, you read that right. Troy is a 2012 senior at Lawrence High School and is graduating on Sunday. I have to say, this year definitely sets a new record for seniors coming in clear up to graduation. :)  I still have one more senior coming in tomorrow, so you'll be seeing his sneak peek as well.

But up first is Troy and a few shots from his amazing session. I love his shots and was so happy that we were able to get him in before graduation. Enjoy your sneak peek and have a great graduation! 

{ congratulations jandi! }

Jandi just graduated with her bachelor's degree and I couldn't be happier for her! To celebrate her accomplishment she decided to come in to get some shots to share with her family and friends.
