Meet Casey, Holly, Murphy and Hazel. Casey and Holly are the people. ;) And Murphy and Hazel are their gorgeous German shorthairs. Talk about energy! They were sooooo excited to be somewhere new, but after the newness wore off a little bit I was able to get some beautiful shots. Here are few of my favorites. Enjoy!

Murphy looking super regal.For as excited as he was when he first arrived (I ended up with his snout up my nose and my entire face covered in dog slobber), once he calmed down he was almost robotic—and extremely sage looking.

And one of the two together. Good dogs! Thanks for bringing them in Holly—they are so sweet!

This picture makes me laugh. It is such the epitome of defeat. Can you tell what's going on in this picture? Can you even tell what the picture is of?

 

This, my friends, if Brutus. Brutus is a quite large mastiff and the biggest sweetie you will ever meet. These first two pics are of him in his Halloween costume. He was a toucan. A not-very-enthused toucan, but a toucan nonetheless. The above shot is of him cramming his face as far into the beak as he could, as if hiding from my flashing light. He had some nice sighs that went along with this first shot. Funny!

And then on to the holiday themed apparel. He's so cute!

This is it! Cyrus is officially the last senior for the 2011 year (oh, unless someone books for next week!). I feel like he should win a prize or something. :) He has some great shots, but here are a few of my favorites from his session.

I cannot believe that it is almost Christmas—oh wait, yes I can because we have been so ridiculously busy! The poor blog has suffered and I would say I'm sorry, but really I've been too busy to notice that I've missed some posts. It's sad, really. To make up for it I am including some extra shots on today's sneak peek.

This gorgeous family recently welcomed a new baby into their life and she is precious. Big sister Kinley is amazing as well and was a trooper during the shoot (which involved some crying—but mainly from the baby! Heehee.) These shots might be some of my all-time favorite sibling shots, so I wanted to share them with you.

Congratulations you guys—Kate is gorgeous!

It's so amazing that we're into December and I still have senior sneak peeks to share. And how crazy is it that it was almost 60º outside today? In the middle of December! 

But getting back to today's senior sneak peek: Meet Preston. He is a senior this year at Veritas High School here in Lawrence. He's a good looking guy and I had a great time hanging out with him and his mom during his session. We ended up with a chilly but calm day, and the light was perfect! Here are a few of my favorites.

And the seniors just keep on coming. :) Today's featured senior is the lovely Kayla. She is a senior this year at Free State High School and is the youngest of six children. I think Kayla being a senior just might be a little bittersweet for mom—but I guess that's probably true for most of the moms out there.
