It's always exciting to get to meet the families that come into the studio—to see how they interact with one another, their personalities, to see what it takes to get them to smile. I had met Annie at a CAbi party some time ago and we had chatted about her family some, so I was extra excited to get to finally meet the whole family.
I think we had a great time—the boys were a riot—Jackson is eight and Cooper is a mere three and a half. It was pretty entertaining trying to coax a real smile out of Jackson (after all, he's eight and a boy) and to capture Cooper's antics (in focus!). I hope they all enjoyed themselves, in spite of the 50 degree temperature in the studio (yep, my heater had decided to quit working overnight but I didn't realize it until we were 30+ minutes into the session).
