So I recently shot a few tester sessions (so I could try out some new backdrops) and these two cuties were some of my volunteers. And they rocked three of my new sets. So, so cute!
An expression well-known by all older siblings. Ha!
It's fall, y'all and I freaking love it! It's my favorite season and the colors just keep getting better and better. This lovely family coordinated everyone's schedules to get together for a morning session and, besides a little wind, it was a great day for photos. Here are some of my favorites from their session.
Look at baby Lou—all stuffed into his baby jeans like a sausage! His mamas said they had to basically shake him into the pants. Lol!
This baby is delicious. Dee-lish-us!!!! Look at that sweet, sweet face and those cheeks! I can't wait until this pandemic is under control so I can cuddle her. She is the daughter of one of my former employees and now dear friend and I am so, so, so happy that her and her husband have this adorable little light in their life. Especially since mama was convinced that she would never marry or have children. But then Jaron came along and completely ruined that plan. ;) I adore this little family and love getting to capture these moments of their life. They are wonderful together!
This guy might be little, but his personality is huge! He was cracking us all up during his session. He was chattering, posing and flashing us that million dollar smile the whole time (except for the few times I asked for some serious shots—which he also nailed!). It's one of the many reason I love working with little kids—they have an inner light about them that is contagious—and being fake just isn't a thing at this age. They feel how they feel, and you're going to know it. It's the best.
It has been so much fun having people come in for some tester sessions! Every time I get a new backdrop (or, in this case, six new backdrops!), I need to put them in action to see how they shoot. It's a blast trying out different colors and styles to see what colors the backdrops pull and how they translate. Miss Katie was one of my wonderful volunteers and I opted for two different looks for her.
I almost forgot to post these two cuties session sneak peek! They are freaking adorable. And I loved watching them interact with each other—there was a lot of time spent wrestling one another to the ground. LOL.
A huge shout out to their grandma for bringing them in to help me test out some of my new backdrops! Here are a few of my favorites.
This is my beautiful cousin Aubre and her husband David. I can't say enough wonderful things about Aubre, she is just an all-around amazing human. I am so fortunate to have her as a cousin. And now my cousin is going to be a mama and I couldn't be more excited for her and David! I am so so happy that they took the time to come up from Wichita to celebrate this wonderful time in their lives. I love you guys!
Here are a few of my favorites from their recent session.
